This authentic and comfortable apartment is located in the centre of Amsterdam. The private apartment is situated on the third floor of a monumental canal house and is suitable for 2 persons. The apartment is about 50 m2 or 450 square feet. Note: you need to climb three flights of stairs.

The apartment has a spacious living room with a lovely view over the canal. The apartment has a fireplace, a separate bedroom, a small open kichen and a private bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and an off-the-floor toilet.

The apartment is in a quiet area, whilst still in the heart of Amsterdam. It is around the corner from Nieuwmarkt square, with its bars and restaurants and the historical 'Waag' building. At present The Waag houses a restaurant. The apartment is a five minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.

Living room with dining area and lounge area

The spacious living room has a beautiful view of the widest canal in Amsterdam, the 'Waalseilandgracht'. The lounge area provides you with all the comfort you require, such as a fireplace, colour TV with DVD player, wireless internet access, a comfortable sofa and an arm chair. The dining area has a table, which seats four.

Open kitchen

The small, well equipped modern kitchen with a blue stone draining board and sink, has a gas stove, a small refrigerator, a water cooker and coffee-making facilities. Coffee, tea and Dutch “stroopwafels” (treacle waffles) are provided on a complimentary basis as well as the beverages in the refrigerator (soft drinks and beer).

Bedroom at the back of the apartment

The bedroom is located at the back of the apartment and has a nice view of the South Church. There is a double bed (2 m x 1,80 m) which can be turned into two single beds on request. Please let us know with your reservation how you would like us to make the beds. When we prepare the apartment for your arrival we can take this into account.

The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and an off-the-floor toilet. For your comfort a de luxe set of towels and relaxing bath products will be provided.
