advice to all this wonderful apartment, Anna and her family are wonderful! Dam Square is just 5 minutes walk, also the station is very close and the red light district is just 3 minutes from the window there is an excellent view of the water.

Nice,quiet,cosy canal apartment within a walking distance to everything. Of course somebody can get the tram (3-4 min.walking) in order to visit museums Anne , the owner, was perfect, polite and helpful. I definetely recommend the apartment.Anne, thanks.

"Just perfect!"
What a lovely apartment! It is spacious and light and comfortable, and exactly the kind of place you want to come home to at the end of a day of exploring. It is in a perfect location, within easy walking or tramming distance from everything. And yet so quiet and peaceful! The huge living room windows overlook the canal and the beautifully renovated bathroom could win awards. Thank you!!

"Our Best B&B"
We had four wonderfull days in the Oude Wall Apartment. These place to stay was absolut the best what we ever found in Amsterdam. It was cosy, quiet, near all points off interest, and a wonderful view to the water. Dear Anne and Maarten thanks for all and we looking forward to come again. (we still feel our good relaxation)

"Fantastic apartment!!!"
We had a wonderfull weekend in the Oude Waal Apartment! Is a very nice apartment were you can rest, and enjoy the nice city of Amsterdam. With wonderfull views, close to the center but always calm. If you want to fell like if you were in your own home but in the fantastic city of Amsterdam you should stay here. The apartment is renovate but keeping the old style of the houses of the city.Everything was perfect. Thank you Anne and Maarten

Hi Anne,
My wife and I loved our stay in your apartment. It felt like going home after a wonderful day in the city. Hanging out in the living room when it rained on Tuesday was so much better than in some kind of small hotel room. Thanks again for the breakfast tips and the coupon for the canal boat trip. We'll try to come back somewhere in May.

Days in Oude Waal Apartment
Dear Anne and Maarten

Thank you for the peaceful days we could spent in your apartment Oude Waal.
We have had really enjoyed the well equipped flat with its cosy and nice style. Even if the coffee machine does produce a sort of tea, instead of a strong coffee ;-)
But there is a good bar (café captain or so...) near to the flat, which solves the problem. Also the selection of beers is good.

All in all, the weather (...for October) was actually good. So, we could easily explore Amsterdam.

We will definitely recommend the Oude Waal Apartment to our friends.

Feel at home in Amsterdam
Dear Anne and Maarten,

Just want to say thanks for a great weekend in Amsterdam. When we are visiting a city we always prefer staying in an apartment instead of a hotel. That way we feel lpart of the city and not just visitors. The Oude Waal aprtment was beyond our expectations. Lovely place, great neighbourhood and the best views of Amsterdam. Thanks for all you recommandations and making us feel like real Amsterdammers for a weekend!
Hope to visit the Oude Waal again.
